Youth in our SciFair program at Taholah School created a world about the powerful and potentially devastating Tsunami.

You might visit a SciCentr exhibit on a virtual field trip, or join a SciFair team and create your own exhibit or game about a topic that interests you. When taking part in a SciCentr after school program you will learn how to build your own online virtual world! You’ll also get to explore worlds that other students have made, and chat with users who are exploring the worlds at the same time. All throughout the after school program you will be working with a mentor from Cornell University. After learning the basics, you will form a team and then pick your own science topic to research and display in a virtual exhibit that you design. When your world is complete you well get to present your exhibit to members of your school and community.

Do you want to get involved with SciCentr? Talk to a teacher or administrator at your school. You can check the list of participating schools below to see if your school already has a program that you can join. If not, invite a teacher to look at our website.
