I am active in many campus organizations, including:
KyotoNow!, Sustainability Hub, Solar Decathlon, Root&Shoots,
EcoPlayers, EcoRecycling, Wilderness Reflections, CIAS,
and Cornell Dems. Currently I am working with many
student groups and individuals around campus to make
Cornell carbon-neutral (meaning no net CO2 emissions)
through a combination of renewable energy, energy
efficiency, and carbon-offsetting efforts - and it’s
gonna happen!
Next semester, I plan to study abroad in Senegal
at an EcoVillage with a community-based sustainable
development program.

Education: I am a graduate student at the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs
and I will be receiving my Masters degree in Public Administration in May 2007.
I double majored in economics and political science as an undergraduate student at
Washington and Lee University, and I studied aboard during my junior year at the London
School of Economics.
Work Experience: I did three internships at the United Nations, two in Geneva,
Switzerland and the most recent one at the UN Headquarters in New York City.
In Geneva I interned at the Internal Audit Division II of the UN Office of
Internal Oversight Services and the UN Joint Inspection Unit. At the Headquarters
I worked for the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Consulting Division of the Office of
Internal Oversight Services.
International Experience and Travel: I lived in Australia, Japan, Switzerland,
United Kingdom, United States, and my home country Serbia. In the United States,
I lived in California for two years, Virginia for four years, and currently I am in
New York State. I traveled to many European countries such as France, Italy, Germany,
Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Greece, Slovenia, and Czech Republic, just to name a few.
I also visited Singapore twice, and I’ve been to Mexico once. My favorite travel
destination is always the country I have never been to before.
Hobbies, Interests, and Activities: My current full-time hobby is securing a
job after graduation. When not occupied by this task, I like to exercise, hang
out with friends, and obviously travel.

ultimate frisbee. Starting Fall '07, I will be a student at
Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey -- I'm both
excited and a bit nervous about that, but I do feel that the

Toronto, but have lived in the Ithaca area for a few years. When I’m
not spending time at the Theory Center or working "in world," I like
to spend time with my dog, play guitar or read books - preferably
outdoors! I enjoy traveling and seeing other parts of the world
and how people live in different places. I’m very interested in
fair trade/trade justice and also work with a wonderful
organization called United Students for Fair Trade.
